This weekend in Germany is significant as Bridgestone will be, for the only time this year, using the widest possible difference between tyre compounds at Hockenheim. With the Hard, Medium, Soft and Super Soft types making up the full variety, the Japanese company will be using its Hard and Super Soft sets. As Hockenheim marks Round 11 of 19 in 2010, Bridgestone has just nine Grands Prix to run before Pirelli steps in as Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier next season. However, looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, Hirohide Hamashima is excited about the prospect of a wide tyre disparity.
