The Team Lotus owner Tony Fernandes has admited he has been bullied over the Lotus naming row. He told reporters "the Renault-backed Lotus has been using 'bully-boy tactics' against me." Group Lotus has become Renault's title sponser after terminating a licensing agreement with Tony Fernandes. Fernandes told reporters "I've never seen such a barrage of comments from a group of people. It has annoyed me. It's a little bit of bully-boy tactics" Currently both teams are in a Legal battle against each other, it is likely that neither team will win. This is due to both teams having the rights to their names, although Group Lotus own their car production name, Team Lotus own their race team name!!
